He was shown only at the large shows and won most of them.  He has a 100+ points in pleasure, with very limited showing.  He has always been the crowd favorite every time shown.  His sire:  Impulsions was always a crowd pleaser and Z's daughter Pretty Impulsive was a real crowd pleasure as was his son
 Pure Impulse at the 2001 Appaloosa Worlds. Pure Impulse went on to dazzle everyone at the Just for Pleasure Longe Line. He was able to compete with the top Quarter Horses. 
Impulsive Knickers has been a very consistent winner with two trailers, saddles, and many other awards.
He has won well over $20,000. in prize money. 
At the 2003 Appaloosa Worlds. All Impulsive was Res. World Champion in Two Year Old Western Pleasure. He tired for first and lost it by the tire breaker judge.
Came back and won the ApPHA Two Year Old Western Pleasure Futurity. Now he has a trailer and saddle to his credit. You can bet he is not done yet. 2005 he was Res. Champion Women's Western Pleasure and fourth in Western Riding.
Irish Impulse won the 2003 World Champion Longe Line with Cathy Wood on the line. He then was sold, so watch for him to come back as a two year old with Mark Shafer in the saddle.
Irish Impulse!! Won the Just For Pleasure Open Color Longe Line and finished Third in the Just For Pleasure Open Longe Line.  
Principly Impulsive stole the show at the 2004 Worlds. He won the 2004 World Champion Longe Line
Irish Impulse came back to dominate the pleasure classes. We won the 2004 World Champion Two Year Old Western Pleasure and the ApPHA Two Year Old Western Pleasure Futurity. There was no better two year old at the show and he proved it. He once again proved his dominance by winning the 2005 Open National Champion Three Year Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure and the ApPHA Three Year Old Pleasure Futurity. Then to finish the year He was named 2005 World Champion Three Year Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure Horse.
Now there is a new star Impulsive Showgirl she has won the West Coast Longe Line Futurity beating all QH. She won the Res. World Champion Non-Pro Longe Line Class shown by Cammy Leier.
    Mr. Z is producing colored foals out of AQHA & CPO'd mares.  They seem to have his disposition and same way of going.  We are very pleased with his foals, they have disposition, movement and conformation.  You will have to judge for yourself in the next few years.  We have been told he is the best Western Pleasure horse of his breed. 

He is one of the strongest loping horse of any breed. If you have ever seen him, you could not forget him.
We were told by Impulsions owner that he was more like his sire than any of the other offspring. We went to the farm and saw Impulsions and it was like looking at Mr. Z.
